International Training on Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) - WMO 2022 (2nd Phase)
Realizing the importance of Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) in the attainment of appropriate weather forecasting and climate monitoring activities, WMO is organizing the International Training on Numerical Weather Prediction at the Regional Training Centre of the Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics of the Republic of Indonesia (BMKG) in 2022. The course is aimed at enhancing the capacity of participants from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) with knowledge and practical skills in the field of NWP. The course will be conducted in English.
Pelatihan Teknis Desain Komunikasi Visual Untuk Produk Informasi Cuaca Tahun 2022
Pelatihan ini memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang menitik beratkan pada kemapuan peserta untuk mengemas informasi cuaca dan membuat konten untuk media sosial serta bagaimana membangun relasi yang baik dengan pengguna.
Setelah mengikuti Pelatihan ini peserta diharapkan mampu meningkatan kapasitas peserta dalam memilih informasi cuaca yang tepat dalam bentuk visualisasi grafis dan teknik diseminasi produk infografis melalui sosial media resmi BMKG serta kemampuan untuk menciptakan dan menjaga relasi yang baik dengan pengguna produk tersebut.
Real-Time Online Course on Operation and Utilization of NWP for Meteorological Services
The course is designed to target meteorologists, with an aim of enabling them to acquire
knowledge about: 1) KMA’s NWP system, 2) NWP Model output statistics, 3) WRF-Ocean Model
Coupling, and 4) how to use an alternative global model in driving WRF. It will also include
introduction to BMKG’s operational NWP system and post-processing & verification of NWP, and guidelines on the development of BMKG’s operational manual by the participants.
Group Fellowship Training on NWP WMO 2021 - The Online Phase

Pelatihan Teknis Analisis Gelombang dan Arus Laut Tahun 2021
Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan BMKG bekerja sama dengan Pusat Meteorologi Maritim menyelenggarakan Pelatihan Teknis Analisis Gelombang dan Arus Laut Tahun 2021. Dimana pelatihan ini merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kapasitas prakirawan meteorologi maritim dalam memahami fenomena meteorologi – oseanografi serta perkembangan teknologi observasi dan pemodelan oseanografi untuk mendukung tugas prakirawan dalam penyiapan informasi / prakiraan meteorologi maritim. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 1 April sampai dengan 16 April 2021 secara daring menggunakan fasilitas LMS dan Zoom.
